Goddess Isis

We'll begin at the Temple of Isis.

Isis was one of the most beloved goddesses of the ancient world.

She was revered as a healer, devoted mother (her image nursing Horus may have inspired later depictions of Mother Mary and baby Jesus), powerful magician, and an emblem of the sacred feminine power.

She was often depicted with outstretched wings, a symbol of resurrection and the bridge between the earthly and the divine.

Later, she became known as Isis of the Sea, protector of sailors and safe passage through uncertain waters.

It turns out that the ancient festival honoring her, the Navigium Isidis, is celebrated on March 5.

The exact day our pilgrimage begins!!!

Blue Lotus Ecolodge

We will first be staying on a small island in the Nile. (Images above).

Built from natural, sustainable materials and surrounded by Nubian desert.

We'll gather in the open-air dome and descend into the salt cave.
To slow down enough to actually hear ourselves again.

Don't be surprised if insights arrive, your nervous system exhales, or time starts behaving a little differently.

Blue Lotus Ecolodge was lovingly created by Hashim Morsy, who will also be our host and guide.

His devotion to the land and the blue lotus tradition is woven into every corner of the space.

The Blue Lotus

Depending on local conditions and availability, Hashim may guide us in a ceremonial experience inspired by the sacred Blue Lotus tradition of ancient Egypt.

The Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) has been revered in Egypt for thousands of years. Images of the flower appear throughout ancient temples and tombs, symbolizing rebirth, beauty, and the mystery of awakening.

Traditionally, it has been used to support relaxation, emotional healing, and dreamwork. It has long been associated with states of deep presence and expanded awareness.

Fun fact: If it looks familiar, that's because it's exactly what Matt Damon is munching on with Calypso in The Odyssey.

We'll approach it with curiosity, reverence, and absolutely no expectations.

After all, Egypt has never been in the business of giving people what they expect.

Paddle to Isis Gate

We'll paddle across the Nile to the Isis Gate, arriving the way pilgrims have for centuries:
By water.

Isis Temple

Ancient writers believed this was one of the holiest places in Egypt.
People traveled enormous distances simply to stand in Isis’s presence.

Now it's our turn.

The Sacred Nile

From Aswan, we’ll board our private dahabeya and begin sailing north toward Luxor.

More than a river, the Nile symbolizes a cosmic artery of life, a living current connecting the earthly and the divine.

The Temples of Sekhmet & Hathor

WARNING: Possible side effect: Profound healing may occur at the Temple of Sekhmet in Karnak.

As the Eye of Ra, Sekhmet embodies the fierce solar force that transmutes dense energies, alchemizes shadow, and awakens the strength within.

In contrast to Sekhmet’s sacred fire, Hathor’s temple at Dendera is a cosmic, womb-like sanctuary— a realm of harmony, love, beauty, and joy.

Together, Hathor, Sekhmet, and the real-life Goddess Michaela invite us into the sacred dance of destruction and renewal, the integration of light and shadow, and the union of masculine and feminine energies.

MEET MICHAELA LIST

Michaela is a lawyer and global legal counsel, a Life Force Activation facilitator, and the founder of Aware Businesses, based in Germany.

Her life and work move between worlds—between structure and intuition, intellect and embodiment, the modern and the ancient.

At the heart of her path is a deep inquiry into what allows us to live and create with greater sovereignty, authenticity, connection, and coherence.

For many years, Michaela has explored ancient wisdom traditions, energy work, meditation, tantra, and the sacred feminine.

Egypt has become one of her greatest teachers, calling her back time and again.
This pilgrimage is deeply personal for her.

WHAT IS A HEKA ACTIVATION?
Michaela’s Heka Activation is a guided energetic Life Force session. A unique transmission weaving together Life Force and Sophia Christ Activation with ancient Egyptian energies.
The practice invites the nervous system into deep relaxation while opening the way for heightened conscious awareness.

MEET CARMELA FLEURY

Carmela is a certified Wayfinder Master Coach, a certified Holistic Health Coach, a 200 hrs Embodied Flow Yoga Teacher, a Yin Yoga teacher, a student of Psychosomatics, and a Vision Quest facilitator-in-training.

She loves leading retreats and pilgrimages worldwide. This, along with avoiding laundry, has been her specialty since 2011.

Egypt and her Goddesses have long been calling her.
In July, after a Reiki session, the practitioner simply said: "This journey you are about to take to Egypt will change your life forever."

Luisa, also known as LuluOm, has spent more than 20 years guiding transformative experiences through breathwork, conscious movement, immersive dance, and sacred ceremony.

Her gift is creating safe spaces where people can drop deeply into their bodies, feel all that needs to be felt in that moment & allow their bodies to move in whatever way feels good to them.

Expect joy, laughter, tears and a feeling of being wildly alive!

Fair warning: Carmela has been known to go completely coconut-bananas during Luisa's sets!
Especially when there are trees, beaches, seaweed, birds... or, in this case, ancient temples and the Nile.
